Privacy policy

This policy explains how IT Center Group S.A., operating as Pacific Tech PA ("we"), handles the personal data you share with us through pacifictechpa.com, under Panama's Law 81 of 2019 on Personal Data Protection and its regulations.

What we collect

• What you enter in the contact form: name, email, phone (optional), service of interest and message.
• The IP address the form is sent from, only to prevent abuse and spam.
• Anything you share with us directly on WhatsApp or by email.
• Only if you accept in the cookie notice: site usage data measured with Google Analytics (pages viewed, device type and browser, language, approximate country and city, where you came from, and clicks on the contact buttons).

Google Analytics never receives your name, email or phone number, and we only see that usage data in aggregate. We don't use advertising cookies. The details are in the Cookie policy.

What we use it for

• To answer your message and, if you ask, give you a quote or provide the service.
• To protect the site against automated or abusive submissions.
• To understand which pages and services people care about most, so we can improve the site (only if you accept analytics).

The legal basis is your consent: the one you give when you submit the form and, for analytics, the one you give in the cookie notice. Also, taking the pre-contractual steps you request. We don't sell or hand over your data.

Who it's shared with

We use providers that process data on our behalf and only to deliver their service: Vercel (site hosting), Resend (sending the form email), Upstash (IP-based abuse control, with data deleted within minutes) and Google LLC (Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics). Some of these providers have servers outside Panama, mainly in the United States. By submitting the form or accepting analytics you consent to that transfer, which is made to providers that apply appropriate security measures.

How long we keep it

Form messages are kept in our email for as long as the business relationship lasts or until you ask us to delete them, and no longer than the law requires. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our Google Analytics account.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, objection and portability (ARCO rights), and withdraw your consent, at any time by writing to info@pacifictechpa.com. To stop being measured by Google Analytics, just change your choice under "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of every page. We respond within the legal deadlines. If you believe we didn't handle your request properly, you can contact Panama's National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), validation of submitted data, abuse limits and restricted access to information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with its update date.
